A custom-made sheet of vinyl separates the water from the pool structure in a vinyl liner pool. Vinyl liners often lock their top edge, known as a bead, into a track at deck level on the bottom of the coping.

For good reason, vinyl-lined pools are the most common type of swimming pool. While fiberglass pools have their own set of features, vinyl liners provide a number of perks to the discerning pool buyer.

We recommend that you use your filter system for 6 to 8 hours every day. When the water temperature rises above 80 degrees, run the system for 8 to 12 hours every day.

Water flow is restricted by a dirty or clogged skimmer basket. Your pool won't circulate properly if water can't flow through your skimmer, which could lead to problems down the road. 

Your pump basket is in the same boat. If there isn't enough water, the pump can overheat. Clean the skimmer baskets on a daily basis and check for cracks, replacing them if necessary.

We recommend using your pool eight to twelve hours after giving a chemical water treatment to be on the safe side. 

The greatest time to shock a pool is in the evening, when the system will be able to function all night. You can swim within 30 minutes of the pool treatment if you use a non-chlorine shock.
